Medieval Horses - Rouncy

Also known as “Rouncy” or “Rounsey”
An all-purpose riding and work horse for knights of lesser fortune, men-at-arms or squires
Used for carrying, riding and warfare
Very plain horses of no particular breeding
Preferably a strong, sturdy animal standing about 14 to 15 hands high
Modern day comparisons include ; Welsh Cob, Gypsy Vanner and Norman Cob
